Upper Rach Assembly for Viking Dishwasher

Appears as new upper rack assembly for the quietest Viking dishwasher that I have ever owned. Mine was rusting out and breaking down. I am so appreciative for dishwasher repair.com to help us continue the life of an otherwise perfectly running dishwasher. In this throw away world, it is refreshing to have someone who will help you get a great appliance repaired of in a dumpster.

Wheels need to be attached lower to make basket fit over the wash arm

This Basket was not exactly the same set up as the OEM version that was rusted. It was pretty close but would not fit into the side racks that hold the wheels so that the bottom of the basket clears the wash arm below. The parts of the basket that the side wheels are attached are not below the basket to raise it above the wash arm. Instead the bottom of the rack wheels are higher than the bottom of the basket so that it just does not fit and operate. There is no way to lower the wheels because the metal pieces they are fixed to are not long enough. Beware!

The folks were smart enough to do a call for a color check (I had no idea there was more than one). Product came undamaged. Fit perfectly. Could not ask for anything more.

It isn't often that you get exactly what you ordered, without delay. I ordered two upper racks at hundreds of dollars less than any other site (and I checked many). I was ok with getting a slightly used parts without all the extra pieces to save money.
What I got was two, brand new parts, with all of the extra pieces (glass holder and knife parts.

Not a lot to say but it fits and has no trust like my old upper rack did. It wasn’t THAT old. It’s just that it’s a Viking and when I remodeled my kitchen, I put in all Viking Appliances. Biggest mistake ever that will not be repeated. Viking makes HORRIBLE appliances. Every one has had to be repaired multiple times.
